Choose an ordinary science question you genuinely wonder about.
Write your own first prediction before asking.
Ask Taz or discuss the question with someone.
Read the response and identify one idea needing explanation.
Ask why about that idea, then repeat once more.
Check a factual claim with an appropriate source alongside the helper.

Why it works

A follow-up question can uncover an explanation’s hidden step or assumption. Asking why a shadow changes may lead to the light’s direction, then to the Sun’s apparent motion and Earth’s rotation. Each connection needs its own clear meaning and evidence. More questions do not automatically make every answer reliable, and some questions remain uncertain or depend on context. Comparing a response with observation or a suitable source helps separate an appealing explanation from one supported by what is known.
